About the Island

DASIA
Opposite the beach of Milia, in Skopelos, lies the small island named Dassia. It is a verdant island, amidst turquoise crystal clear waters. A characteristic of this little paradise is none other than the caves it has.

A pine-covered, enchanting port, next to the village of Elios and the beautiful sandy beach of Hovolos with the wonderful shades of the waters. The picturesque harbor with the marina, the beautiful beaches and the rich forest, are an ideal destination for quiet and relaxing holidays.
KASTANI BEACH
One kilometer north of Milia beach is the wonderful Kastani beach of Skopelos.
The sandy Kastani beach with its beautiful clear water has a starring role in the movie Mamma Mia. Specifically, Kastani was used for scenes of the famous movie. Thus, Kastani beach is perhaps the most famous beach on the island of Skopelos.
HOVOLO BEACH
Hovolo is a beautiful exotic beach with fine sand, majestic white rocks, crystal clear turquoise waters, surrounded by pine forest. It is located in the village of Neo Klima-Elios on the west side of Skopelos. This particular beach, due to its enchanting landscape, was included in the Telegraph’s list of the 17 most beautiful beaches in Greece.
